Hurricane Elsa
7/6/2021 (Permalink)
This hurricane season has started off quiet as the first few storms never developed past a tropical storm. Hurricane Elsa, which has already made landfall in Cuba and is headed for the United States east coast, is the first storm to develop into a hurricane. The storm is projected to make landfall in the Florida Keys midweek and extend up the Georgia and South Carolina Coast later in the week. There is an anticipated 4 to 8 inches of rainfall expected over the course of the week, that could lead to possible flooding.
At SERVPRO of West Greenville County, we have been prepping for hurricane season for a few months and our production crew is on alert and ready for any possible damages. If need be, our STORM team is organized and will be dispatched to the coast to help with any severe damages.
