Water Damage to Local Home in Greenville, SC
9/15/2016 (Permalink)
A local Greenville County residence experienced moderate water damage after a faulty gutter had leaked water from the downspout into the ground against the foundation walls causing saturation and seepage of water into the basement area. SERVPRO of West Greenville County has the expertise and equipment to mitigate residential water losses just like this one. In this particular situation, we pulled up the carpet and pad in order to dry from underneath, because the floor had been saturated with water from inside the wall. Once all the affected areas (floors and walls) were treated and reached the appropriate levels as an unaffected area, the padding and carpet was installed back to its original placement, “Like it never even happened”. The family was very grateful to be able to use the space again within a matter of days!
