Before and After Demolition and Drying

This upstairs landing was one of many rooms affected in this Upstate, South Carolina home. As can be seen from the photos above, our production team needed to partially remove the carpeting and carpet pad in order to properly dry the space. Although drying equipment was placed, it became clear from daily visits to take moisture readings that the carpet was not going to fully dry from the equipment alone. Initially the customer was hesitant to remove the flooring, but after multiple days of drying they thought it was the best move.
