Renovation Home Suffers Water Loss

This home in Upstate, South Carolina was under renovation when it suffered major water damage from the basement. A small pinhole leak from a pipe inside the wall, created a lot of damage. The customer called us a SERVPRO of West Greenville County to come out to provide a scope of services. The water damage extended into the living room and multiple other rooms. This was a special case when it came to scope of services, because there was multiple layers of flooring. Based off of the initial scope, it was determined that at the very least, the first layer of flooring was saturated and would need removal. As demolition progressed, our production crew would be able to perform further moisture readings and determine if more demolition was needed. Notice in the after photo, in the living room all of the flooring needed removal, as well as some of the drywall.
